- 1969 Founded (according to Faith in 1976; according to Delos in 1981!?) in Cognac by Michel Coste (assisted by Claude Brugerolle). It is a group of independent family businesses.
- 1977 CCG buys Lucien Foucauld
- 1979 CCG buys Meukow.
- 1987 CCG and Brugerolle continue together.
- 1989 CCG acquires Rouyer Guillet.
- 1995 Miccel Coste invents logo panther for Meukow.
- 1996 Current chief executive: Philippe Coste. Vice-president: Claude Brugerolle.
It is difficult to find good information about the CCG group.
The cognac operations are divided between Saintes (where Rouyer-Guillet is based), Cognac (where Meukow is based) and Matha (where Brugerolle was).
The headquarters is on Rue Pascal Combeau in Cognac, Jules Duret’s premises from c1860 that was sold to Lucien Foucauld in 1885.
Meukow is CCG’s main brand.
Brugerolle is a second important brand, for older cognacs in particular.
