Rody, bouilleur de cru in Touzac (grande champagne)
Around 2015, Roderich Dühr founds the company RoderikCo in Touzac and starts producing cognacs under the Rody brand name. The Domaine des Conils where he makes his cognacs has been growing wine and making cognac for centuries under a variety of names, including Maine-Mercier and Eugène Martin. The Domaine des Conils is named after the Connil family who already lived here in the 16th century. Martin, a descendant of the Connil family, has been growing wine since 1628. Apparently Roderich Dühr is also a descendant of this family.
