Anny Fougerat, bouilleur de cru in Saint Sulpice de Cognac (borderies)
[Not to be confused with Alain Fougerat in Vouharte, fins bois.]
Fanny Fougerat comes from a family of wine producers and distillers who usually sold their products to the big houses. In 2013 she produced her first cognacs for direct sale. She distills herself. She owns 30 Ha of vineyards in the borderies and in the fins bois, but also makes a petite champagne cognac.
She strives for a unique and high-quality product. Her bottles certainly deviate from the usual in terms of naming and style.
Range: Petite Ciguë (VSOP, fins bois), Laurier d’Apollon (2010, petite champagne), Iris Poivré (XO, borderies), Cèdre Blanc (Extra Old)
