With the rise and development of cognac, a whole new industry also emerged in Charente that provided cognac producers and traders with the products they needed to make, preserve, transport and advertise cognac. First were coopers and manufacturers of alambics. Later, transporters, wine press manufacturers,  bottle factories, label printers, lithographers, boiler makers, distilleries, etc. Many of them, in turn, advertised their products in one way or another. Sometimes with posters, but sometimes with beautiful letterheads on stationery. They are just too beautiful to be forgotten.
