Tallon, bouilleur de Cru in Ligné (fins bois)
[Not to be confused with Tallon in Burie, borderies].
The Domaine des Chaillis has been owned by the family since the 17th century. The production of wine and cognac started over 200 years ago, but was abandoned for a long time until Alain Tallon started it again in 1975. In the meantime, he has retired and Emmanuel Tallon has taken over the business. The estate is 120 hectares, of which 14 are vineyards. The rest is used for grain, barley, sunflowers, corn, peas and lentils.
The family distills its own wine.
One can also rent a gite on the estate.
