Normandin, brand of Marie Brizard
[Not to be confused with cognac producer Normandin-Mercier in Dompierre-sur-Mer, nor with Normandin in Lagarde sur le Né (petite champagne)].
Founded in 1844 by Edouard Normandin in Chateauneuf-sur-Charente. In 1930, the company “E. Normandin & Cie.” was founded by some members of the family. In 1976, Normandin merged into Gemaco, a subsidiary of Berger SA, which was acquired by Marie Brizard & Roger in 1995.
In 2006, Marie Brizard & Roger became the property of the Belvedere Group.
In 2015, the Belvedere Group underwent a name change to Marie Brizard.
