Introduction

The Lheraud family had been active with viticulture in Lasdoux since the 17th century, but it was not until the late 19th century that they began distilling, only for the big firms. It was not until 1971 that Guy and Andrée Lhéraud started their own label.
They became particularly well known for their old vintages and with that they have continued to this day.
Today, they have vineyards mainly in petite champagne, hence most of their cognacs are petite champagne. But in the past they have also had vineyards in the other crus.

        • To my knowledge they don’t have a Cuvée 40 nor 50.
          They do have XO Charles VII, that has aged for 40 years.
          The Anniversaire is probably aged less than 60 years, judging by its price.
          I would advice to contact Lheraud directly with your question, but I noticed there is a technical problem with the link to their website. I will probably visit them late september and will ask about that problem.

          • They had Cuvée 10, 30 and 50, but only for a very short period of time.
            The Cuvée 20 is in their regular repertoir.
            Cuvée 40 has never been produced.
            Eugenie is a thirty years old cognac.
            Regarding the website problem: it was caused by a change of service provider. They are working on it.
