Gaston de Lagrange Bottle Catalog (last updated: Nov 9, 2024)
177 bottles, but still not complete (only half bottles and up).
Introduction
Gaston de Lagrange is a brand that was invented by Martini & Rossi, probably just before 1960. Initially the cognacs were produced at Bache-Gabrielsen, later at Chateau d’Otard. Despite not being a premium brand, it has always sold very well.
They have never marketed any extravagant bottles nor vintages.
They used two different emblems, one with two unicorns holding a shield with three animals running (deer or greyhounds?) and another with an eagle, sometimes with a laurel branch beneath it.
They were also suppliers to the Russian court and let this be known with labels that said: ‘By Appointment to the Late Majesty King Alexander I and to his Majesty King Peter II.”
As could be expected by an Italian owner (Martini), a lot of bottles were exported to Italy.
Today production of Gaston de Lagrange has stopped.

Hello,
Do you have any information about ‘Lheraud Cognac Marquis de Lasdoux Grande Reserve’ – what cognac is in the bottle? Is it a blend or some old vintages?
Do you mean the Magnum bottle?
That is a Petite champagne, grande réserve. Grande réserve means at least aged for 5 years, so it is a blend of some young petite champagne cognacs. It is possible they added a bit of an older petite champagne into the blend, but only Lhéraud can tell you that.
